Daughter of a colonial diplomat and a police chief, Hallé has no place to hide when it comes to trying to lie about why she was out after curfew on a school night…

Quirks:

- Vivid dreams, oversaturated and under the control of the dreamer.  Recent one featured the impression that she was inside/riding/became a giant flying ball of flame that was travelling over an ocean. Update: The ocean below the floating islands reminds her of the one in her dreams, featureless though the waves may be. Update: Angeline of Aboa called this a true dream and Hallé a dream walker.

- Has a colorful imported talking parrot which hasn’t warmed up to her yet.

-Summoned and banished a small blue flame which appeared to have a flame person inside it.  The flame did not follow commands and nearly set Hallé on fire. Update, flame will sometimes follow simple hand gesture commands, especially if they involve setting things on fire.

Items:

Wave Ring: Silvery ring with stylized wave pattern on one face.  Waves appear to move once ring is attuned.  So far, powers include increased swimming ability, increased diving ability (20′ tested so far), being able to stay dry while immersed, ability to breathe while underwater, summon a liter of water once an hour, dry up a liter of water once an hour.  1 spirit chip to maintain.

Silk Lantern: Silk, bamboo and wood construction. Previously owned by the ‘storm elemental kid’ found at Sword of Damocles, Floating Islands. Rectangular, has ideogram on the sides, wooden handle. Unknown if magickal nature, but suspected since it appeared undamaged after previously being shot by Hallé and dropped by the kid.

Eightfold Way Statuette: 8″ tall stone statuette of Edwina Sass dressed in a high tech racing suit with racing helmet (open visor). Autographed on bottom in metallic magic marker. She appears to be in her 30s. Previously owned by Judgement Anjiro Dufresne, magi of the Floating Islands, who used the eight pieces for a scavenger hunt whose prize was freedom. “Daredevils Supreme” causes a form hugging, high-tech racing suit to appear on the bearer, racing helmet has sophisticated racing HUD with engine/power plant readings, special equipment operations, sensor displays, racing vehicle displays, and targeting information. The suit itself is a modified G-suit, NBC sealed, has a distributed wearable computer to control all the HUD functions along the arms and legs, a short range helmet mounted encrypted laser com, short term trauma pack on abdomen, 30 sec fire suppression foam launcher on left arm, suit requires beamed vehicular power or a fannypack power supply to operate at full capacity. Has 300′ range on remote operation functions.

- Sassmobile, Advanced prototype hand tooled and tuned 6-person military fast attack vehicle disguised as a civilian SUV, fission power plant, has driver controlled single mil spec vehicular beam laser in concealed bubble mount sensor mast, fast and agile handling, emergency boosters (MIB red button anyone?), traffic sensor suite, basic ECM suite, NBC sealing, approximately 1 year operation on one fuel rod (without laser use). Magick? Travelled successfully through a Angeline portal from Jocasta’s dream into the real world. Fully controlled from Edwina’s suit HUD (locks, windows, ignition, laser, boosters, sensors, etc.). Recommended personnel wear light rad protection and rad wash gear after exiting the vehicle.

- Seems to attune with magickal items very quickly, sometimes on picking them up. This could be problematic with untested items.

Contacts:

- Shooting range instructor and club members.  Impressed the crowd when she controlled a gun mishap without a fuss.

- Krav Maga instructor introduced by mother.

- Small blue flame (see above).  Ran away from FX’s summoned dragon.

- ‘Red’ Redding, magician, Floating Islands, trained her in the Float magick. Possible future trainer if faction improves and a return route exists.

- Judgement Anjiro Dufresne, magician, Floating Islands (now fallen). Has knowledge of dream warfare, unknown if he would train Hallé.

- Sister Angeline of Aboa, knowledgeable about dreamwalking, offered to try to find Hallé for training if Hallé got back to the waking world.
