Q: How many hobbies can I have?

A: Short answer, up to 5 if you do nothing else.  A more reasonable amount is 2.  You want to leave free time for other activities and socializing.  Basic structure of your week is: Of 168 hours, after 56 hours for sleep/rest, 33 hours for main job/school (hour daily transit time), 18 hours for meals/snacks, 12 hours for showers/dressing/personal grooming, and 9 hours general chores/maintenance e.g. shopping, laundry,  you have 40 hours to spend on errands/personal time.  Some tasks will have additional dependencies e.g. is the shopping mall open at midnight when I have an open time slot?

- Hobbies use 8 hours each minimum.

- Pets 7 hours each (gm ruling on exceptions) minimum.

- Contacts/friends may take as little as 0-1 hour a week or up to 20+ if a best friend/significant other.  GM may allow contact time to be stacked with a hobby if both share an interest/applicable availability.  Penalties may apply for allotted time being skipped.
